Eligibility Criteria

Who Can Participate in Miss Category?

  • Any woman of Indian Sub-Continent  (regardless of her place of birth) between the ages of 17 and 30 inclusive (on December 31st), never married and never having had a child, is eligible to participate.
  • The applicant is a natural born female.
  • The applicant is not / has not been married, and has never had a marriage or never given birth to a child; is not now pregnant nor a parent. If any of these conditions change, the applicant is to notify the National Director immediately.
  • Email 2 photographs out of which one is headshot with your signature on photo.

 

Who Can Participate in Mrs. Category?

  • Any woman of Indian Sub-Continent (regardless of her place of birth) between the ages of 18 and 50 inclusive (on December 31st) are eligible to participate.
  •  The applicant is a natural born female married to a born male.
  • Applicant must be of good moral character and never convicted of a Felony.
  • The applicant is married or single mothers/divorced/separated or who have given birth to a child but the contestants who are not now pregnant are eligible to apply. If any of these conditions change, the applicant is to notify the National Director immediately.
  • Email 2 photographs out of which one is headshot with your signature on photo.
  • Applicant would then be contacted for a telephonic interview.

Terms & Conditions

  • All applicants must meet the Eligibility Criteria.
  • All contestants would be called for a telephonic interview.
  • Contestants agree that the judge’s decision is final & absolute. Organisers is not liable for any clarification whatsoever once the decisions have been made at the show.
  • The Applicants must participate in a disciplined and diligent manner throughout the training program as per the schedule that will be given to them and participate in all the rehearsals, Any decision taken in this regard by organisers shall be final.
  • Contestants agree that his/her photograph and profile can be used for any promotional uses at no cost to the organisers. In this event, photographs of the contestants are not returnable. You agree that any promotional photographs taken at the pageant or sent to Miss/Mrs India Worldwide may be used on the Organiser’s website, Facebook group page and for promotional purposes, to promote the Miss/Mrs India Worldwide.
  • The organisers will shortlist the contestants based on the information that the applicants provide for registration and contact the applicants via email or phone.
  • All selected contestants must go through a training & rehearsal session for the finals, which would be held in Sydney when requested by the organiser. Failure to attend the training/rehearsals could lead to disqualification from the contest.
  • Organisers will not be responsible for lodging/boarding/airfare of the contestants.
  • The winners of the title shall not compete/participate in any other pageant for 12 months or sign any kind of contract with any company or agency unless authorised in writing by the Organisers.
  • Organisers are not responsible for the contestant or any of his/her personal belongings.
  • Organisers will not be responsible or liable in any manner whatsoever for any personal injury to anyone or damages/ compensation other incapacity sustained by you during the contest period or after the event.
  • Organisers are not responsible for any delays or non-receipt of applications on any account and for any reason whatsoever.
  • The Organisers are not responsible if sponsors do not make good the prizes promised by them.
  • No spouse, family members or friends permitted inside the designated venue of the audition & rehearsals during the training or the main day of the event.
  • In the event of any dispute, Organisers decision is final and binding on the contestant.
  • Incorrect information will result in disqualification, whether discovered prior to, during or after the finals and the Candidate shall be liable to Organisers for such misrepresentation.
  • Participants agree that Opera Miss/Mrs India Worldwide l has the sole discretion to strip the winner of his/her title if he/she violates any terms or spirit of this beauty pageant or any other signed agreements.
  • Registration fees is non-refundable.
  • If Contestant relinquishes, for any reason, any title given him/her, all prizes must be returned in full, and in condition received.
  • Contestants of Opera Miss/Mrs India Worldwide agree and undertake not to engage in any press, publicity or other discussions with any third party in connection with your application as a candidate on the Competition or any other aspect of the Competition.
  • In the event that you are invited to attend an audition and/or interview you hereby grant all consents necessary for the Company to film and record such audition and/or interview and to use recordings featuring your image and/or voice in connection with the Competition and/or ancillary rights in the Competition and to exploit the same in all media throughout the world in perpetuity without the need for payment to you.
  • Should you be selected to take part in the competition you are bound by the confidentiality agreement and a contestant agreement and you agree to abide by the terms therein.
  • These rules and regulations are subject to modification, as needed, without prior notice. Miss/Mrs India Worldwide reserves the right to make said modifications at its sole discretion.
  • Applicants will be selected at the sole discretion of the organisers, whose decision will be final.
  • Contestants agree to attend any interviews, auditioning processes, competitions, events and promotional activities relating to the Competition if required by the Company, on any dates as notified to you by the Company.

Contestants agree to abide by the following rules & regulations:

  • Terms and conditions of the Competition which may be varied from time to time by the Miss/Mr/Mrs India Worldwide and you further agree that the Miss/Mrs India Worldwide decision is final and binding.
  • Contestant who decide to pull out of the contest for their personal reasons 30 days prior to the final show or decide not to continue being part of the final show for segments or sequence after the top contestants are shortlisted or awards announced are liable to pay a minimum $1000 for expenses incurred by Opera Miss/Mrs India Worldwide a on photography, makeup, photoshoot etc. The final amount is solely decided on discretion of Miss/Mrs India Worldwide  .
  • The Company reserves the right to change the event date or event time without any notice.
  • The personal details will be used to understand the contestant better. While judging, it is essential to know all the participants. The information will be kept by the management until the contest is over and then destroyed. The information will not be given to the external parties.
  • Please note once you have entered Opera Miss/Mrs India Worldwide and if the pageant takes place, there is no refund and non-transfer policy applies for all fees, tickets. Management holds the right to cancel the contest if required.
  • As a  Miss/Mrs India Worldwide finalist, you will be required to update the national director with all your finals preparations. You will also reply to any emails sent out by the management.
  • It is an optional thing to be nice and friendly to all other contestants, try and help them. It is a good idea to support other contestants by at least writing positive comments on each other’s Facebook wall in connection to the preparations. It is optional to acknowledge any updates or comments put by the management on Facebook in connection to the contest.
  • You understand that if you are selected as a national finalist your friends, relatives and extended families need to pay the applicable entry fee into the final event.
  • Working for a charitable cause is optional. You can choose any cause close to your heart. If you need ideas, please email the Opera Miss/Mrs India Worldwide organiser. If selected as a national finalist, you must choose a cause and work towards it.
  • You are to attend the National Final Judging at your own expense. Applicants are welcome from all over Australia.
  • It is an optional thing to be nice and friendly to all other contestants, try and help them. It is a good idea to support other contestants by at least writing positive comments on each other’s Facebook wall in connection to the preparations. It is optional to acknowledge any updates or comments put by the management on Facebook in connection to the contest.
  • As a code of conduct, you will keep all matters relating to this pageant, as pure confidential and will not disclose any particulars/details to anybody verbally, print or in writing.
